QC Chemist

Shift Nature : Rotational shift (3 shift- Compulsory)

Job Description

• Conduct routine QC inspections on raw materials and refractory coatings & resins.
• In-process check of Resin processing and Coating.
• Maintenance of batch-wise QC records, COAs, and test logs & other records as per requirements.
• Assist in complaint analysis & troubleshooting coating defects
• Support in new product trials and performance evaluations.
• Understanding and performing different application methods (spray, brush, dip, flood, etc).
• Basic knowledge of curing behaviour, bonding strength, and surface finish, etc.
• Ensure Laboratory instrument calibration and maintenance
• Basic Awareness & exposure to ISO9001 Standards & implementation.
• Familiarity with SOPs, MSDS, and safety protocols for handling chemicals adhering to ISO standards like ISO14001 & 45001.
• Follow & implement good laboratory practices
  
  

Educational Qualifications

• B.Tech(chem. Engg), B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Industrial Chemistry or equivalent.
• Experience in resin processing is highly preferable
• Exposure to ceramic materials, inorganic chemistry, or surface coatings is highly desirable.
