Title Quality Engineer
Reporting to Quality Manager
Role Purpose Identify & analyze activities that will cause and had caused quality problems through root-cause analysis and other QC tools to be able to come up with corrective & preventive action. Communicates problems & solutions to process owners/ departments for practice modification and improvement to avoid defect repetitions and develop continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conducts Random Quality inspection of material at site to ensure that materials are in good condition and properly stored/ stocked & protected at site to avoid damages prior, during and after installation.
2. Conducts random inspection during installation to ensure that workmanship are in compliance to the technical specifications and quality standards to avoid future defects and ensures that activity done at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
3. Conducts random inspection after installation prior to snagging or final inspection to ensure our installed items are protected to avoid future damage cause by other subcontractors still working inside the area.
4. Raise internal non-conformance report (NCR) for non-compliance to Quality standards of work, storage, item protection from damages and housekeeping
5. Conducts Internal Snag Inspection according to our checklist and countercheck snags after rectification by LORJI team prior to raising WIR
6. Conducts Root-cause analysis of non-conforming materials and products (Internal & External) and recommends an effective corrective action to minimize and or eliminate repeat rejections
7. Raise Material Inspection Request (MIR), Work Inspection Request (WIR) and close External NCRs
8. Prepares & Updates MIR & WIR log on a regular basis to be shared with Project Managers & Quantity Surveyors
9. Ensures record of all Quality issues are established, effective, maintained in compliance to the ISO9001:2015 procedures
10. Helps in campaigning for all Quality Awareness activities in the factory
11. Shows commitment towards the company’s quality policy, quality objectives, targets & programs towards the achievement of company’s mission/vision and continual improvement.
12. Helps in improving competencies of labors in terms of training, skills and experience.
13. Performs other works not included in this JD but assigned by Superior that is deemed necessary for the good and welfare of the company
Qualification
1. Degree in Civil Engineering
2. 2 years- experience in QA/QC in the same field
3. Exposure to statistical tools & techniques
4. Analytical & problem solving skills
5. Presentation & Communication skills
