QC Engineer

Candidate must have minimum 6-8 years of experience in O&G Projects. Following job description will be assigned to the candidate:

• Verifying that all necessary inspections and tests, as required on the project and by statutory regulations, are carried out and appropriate records are updated and maintained.
• Review all the approved documents such as Method statements, Project Quality Plan, Drawings, prior to the commencement of works on the site.
• Monitor site activities according to Project Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plan, Project Specifications and Method Statements.
• Planning and Coordinating QA/QC activities, ensuring quality control of the work according to contractual requirements at project site.
• Supervising the site activities of QC Services Provider Inspectors ensuring that it performed with due diligence.
• QA/QC activities as preparation of Test packages, welding and piping inspection including punch list clearing and witnessing hydro test of site process piping associated with the project including ultrasonic test and Painting Inspection.
• Raw material inspection which includes, Pipe, Plate, Fittings, Fasteners etc. correlating with MTC.
• Issuance of request for inspection for client and coordinate with the department concern.
• Material verification and dimensional inspection of pipes and fittings as per applicable international Codes/Standards.
• Review of all applicable documents such as Scope of work, Drawing, Quality plan, Procedures, Codes and Standard, ITP etc.
• Preparation of WPS / PQR and Quality Control Plan & review of Quality Control Procedures.
• Inspection of welding consumables and ensuring the proper storage and handling of welding consumables and controlled in accordance with approved Consumables control procedure.
• Identification of materials and reviewing of Material Test Certificates Inspection and Test Plan, Welding Procedure , Weld Plan, Weld Map and Test Packs etc.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality concerns.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
