QC & Finishing Executive

Job Summary:

The QC & Finishing Executive is responsible for ensuring that all jeans produced meet the company’s quality standards. This role involves monitoring product quality throughout the production process, overseeing finishing operations, and ensuring that every garment is properly cleaned, pressed, tagged, and packed for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control (QC):

Inspect denim fabric, trims, and accessories for quality compliance before production.

Conduct in-line and end-line quality inspections during stitching to identify and correct defects early.

Verify garment measurements, fit, and construction against approved specifications.

Monitor washing quality — shade variation, wash effects, and softness — ensuring consistency across batches.

Carry out final AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) inspections before shipment.

Maintain detailed quality reports and coordinate corrective actions with production teams.

Analyze quality issues and recommend process improvements to reduce rework and rejections.

Finishing:

Supervise thread cutting, stain removal, and garment cleaning after sewing and washing.

Ensure proper pressing/ironing of garments to maintain appearance and shape.

Oversee labeling, tagging, and packing as per buyer specifications.

Verify packing accuracy — correct size, style, and quantity per carton.

Conduct final visual inspections before dispatch to ensure product presentation and quality.

Maintain finishing section records and coordinate with QC and Dispatch teams for timely shipment readiness.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of denim fabric, garment construction, and washing techniques.

Familiarity with AQL standards and garment inspection procedures.

Attention to detail and ability to detect and correct defects efficiently.

Good communication and team coordination skills.

Ability to work under tight production deadlines.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / Graduate in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in Quality Control and Finishing in denim or apparel manufacturing industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
