QC Inspector (Refractory)

Purpose of the Position: Ensure Quality compliance at the Project site as per Project Specifications. Check quality compliance (ISO9001 Quality Standards, API etc.).

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the Project Quality Specifications.
• Promote the implementation of QC practices at the job site.
• Get Client material approval & job acceptance & work release.
• Ensure correct use of material & availability of Quality instruments as per Project requirements.
• Manage the Inspection Test Plan & maintain QC inspection records.
• Report QC improprieties to the QC Specialist for timely intervention.
• Ensure close monitoring to avoid Non-Conformity Report by Client.
• Timely complete material inspection to avoid productivity loss & generate request for inspection.
• Accurately & properly prepare the periodic QC reports.
• Undertake any other related responsibilities assigned.

Professional Qualifications & Experience Required:

High School or qualification in ITI, diploma in Engineering is preferred with 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the field. A valid API 936 Certification.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in Refractory Inspection.

Basic knowledge of ISO & ASME Standards is required.

SCE Registration (Saudi Council of Engineers) is required.

Computing/Special Skills Required:

MS Office Excel, MS Office Word & MS Office Outlook.

Knowledge of Languages Required:

English at proficient level is essential.
