QC Inspector – Static and Rotating Equipment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced QC Inspector specializing in static and rotating equipment for the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in inspection, quality assurance, and compliance of equipment in upstream, midstream, or downstream operations. The role requires ensuring that all equipment meets industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection and quality control of static equipment (pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, piping) and rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines).
• Review and verify material certificates, drawings, specifications, and inspection reports.
• Conduct NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) and mechanical inspections as per project requirements.
• Monitor fabrication, assembly, and installation activities to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and vendors for quality assurance and technical clarifications.
• Identify, report, and track non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and ensure proper documentation for audits.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations during all inspection activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QC/inspection roles in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, and other relevant codes and standards.
• Hands-on experience with welding, NDT techniques, dimensional inspection, and equipment testing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with site inspection procedures and safety protocols.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT).
• Experience with inspection software and QA/QC documentation tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
