Conduct these on-going tests according to established procedures:

Solids

Viscosity

pH
-
Grit

Particle size
-
Film tests

Froth
-
Density
-
Gas Chromatography
-
Styrene-butadiene ratio checks
-
Surface tension
-
Biological tests
-
Product Blends
-
Manual COA generation when necessary
-
On-site truck dispatch
-
Distribution of logistic paperwork for deliveries (in-coming and out-going)
-
Participate in regular training assessments per the QC Lab Supervisor.

Others as requested or required
- Input data and maintain accurate records of tests on worksheets and computer database
-
Perform weekly calibration checks on lab instruments and records data
-
Perform clerical tasks as required to release shipments to customers, to communicate OOS data, and to perform/complete all necessary checklists for product blends and other miscellaneous tests.

Retain samples in an organized manner.

Pull and test retains for customer complaints.

Interpret test results and communicate results as soon as possible.

Serve as primary contact with drivers picking up or dropping trailers, including creation and distribution of required paperwork

Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrate an ability to identify, analyze and solve problems

Utilize Microsoft Office, JDE, and Bizzmine effectively and with ease

1+ years of prior lab testing experience

Effective communication skills (written and oral); customer-oriented (internal and external)

Proficiency in basic math (including rounding and percentages)

Prefer a 2yr/4yr Chemistry degree
-
Prefer ASQ Certification
Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 2/2/3 Schedule, 1 PM- 1 AM
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
