QC Manager

Job Title: QC Engineer / QC Manager

Experience Required: 12–15 Years

Reporting To: Project Manager / QA-QC Head

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all construction and engineering works are executed in compliance with company quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining an effective Quality Control system across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Control procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct regular site inspections for civil, mechanical, and electrical works to ensure quality compliance.
• Review material test certificates, calibration records, and third-party lab reports.
• Monitor workmanship quality during execution and ensure adherence to approved drawings and standards.
• Coordinate with client representatives and consultants for inspection and approval of works.
• Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain complete QC documentation — including checklists, inspection reports, and test records.
• Conduct training sessions for site staff to promote awareness of quality standards and procedures.
• Support internal and external quality audits, and prepare compliance reports.
• Liaise with procurement and stores to verify the quality of incoming materials.

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Certified in Quality Management / ISO / QA-QC (preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, IS/ASTM codes, and quality standards.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle client interactions and resolve quality issues efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
