QC TECHNICIAN - READYMIX

• Perform random sampling and testing of aggregates (fine and coarse) to ensure compliance with ASTM and internal standards (gradation, moisture content, specific gravity, and deleterious materials).
• Monitor cement and admixture deliveries for proper documentation and quality.
• Inspect aggregate stockpiles for contamination, segregation, or degradation.
• Conduct slump tests, air content tests, and temperature measurements on fresh concrete at the plant and jobsite in accordance with ASTM standards.
• Prepare, cast, and properly cure concrete cylinders for compressive strength testing.
• Perform compressive strength testing on hardened concrete cylinders at various ages (3, 7, 28 days).
• Make visual inspections of concrete for workability, finishability, and uniformity.
• Adjust batch weights (moisture compensation, admixture dosage) to maintain workability and yield as conditions change throughout the day.
• Troubleshoot workability or performance issues in the field.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new mix designs.
