Job Summary
The Site Nurse is responsible for providing primary healthcare services at the project site, ensuring employee health and safety, handling medical emergencies, and supporting occupational health compliance in line with Qatar regulations.
Key Responsibilities1. Medical Care & First Aid
- Provide immediate first aid and emergency care to injured or ill workers
- Assess medical conditions and decide on referrals to hospitals/clinics
- Maintain and monitor first aid kits, medical supplies, and equipment
2. Occupational Health Monitoring
- Conduct routine health assessments and screenings
- Monitor workers for occupational illnesses or injuries
- Support implementation of workplace health & safety programs
3. Emergency Response
- Act as first responder during accidents and emergencies
- Coordinate ambulance services and hospital transfers
- Maintain emergency preparedness plans
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate medical records of all workers
- Prepare incident and injury reports
- Ensure compliance with QCHP and company documentation standards
5. Health Education
- Educate workers on hygiene, safety, and disease prevention
- Conduct awareness sessions (heat stress, hydration, PPE use, etc.)
6. Compliance
- Ensure adherence to QCHP regulations and company HSE policies
- Participate in audits and inspections
- Maintain valid QCHP license and certifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Valid QCHP License (mandatory)
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical or site experience
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
