QC/Testing Commissioning Engineer

Looking for QC/Testing Commissioning Engineer

Testing & Commissioning

• Conduct testing and commissioning of fire alarm, fire fighting, voice evacuation, emergency lighting, FM-200, and other life-safety systems.
• Prepare T&C plans, method statements, and procedures.
• Coordinate with site teams, OEMs, and third-party agencies for functional and integrated system testing.
• Identify system deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Participate in cause & effect programming, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning of systems.

Quality Control

• Perform site inspections to verify installations meet approved drawings, NFPA codes, and Civil Defense requirements.
• Maintain quality records, checklists, and inspection reports.
• Ensure all materials and equipment received comply with approved submittals.
• Monitor workmanship and provide corrective feedback to site teams.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare T&C reports, QA/QC documentation, and as-built verification records.
• Support team in obtaining consultant/client approvals and Civil Defense NOCs.

Coordination & Compliance

• Work closely with engineering, project management, and site teams to ensure timely project closure.
• Attend technical meetings, site inspections, and consultant/client walkthroughs.
• Ensure all systems comply with UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and relevant NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fire protection systems in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of NFPA codes, UAE Fire Code, and Civil Defense approval processes.
• Hands-on experience with fire alarm panels, pump commissioning, and integrated testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

• UAE Civil Defense Engineer Card (advantage).
• NFPA certifications (desired but not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
