Role Description
We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated QHSE Officer with a marine or offshore background to join our team. The successful candidate will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System across our marine operations.

The successful candidate will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System across our marine operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the effective implementation and maintenance of the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with International Maritime Organization requirements and relevant ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
* Ensure all QHSE documentation including policies, procedures, manuals, risk assessments, and work instructions are properly maintained, reviewed, and updated.
* Monitor compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the International Maritime Organization ISM Code, supporting both vessel and shore-based operations.
* Conduct internal audits, vessel inspections, and site safety inspections to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in incident investigations, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions, ensuring proper root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
* Monitor and track non-conformities, observations, and corrective actions within the QHSE reporting system.
* Support the preparation of QHSE performance reports, statistics, and management review inputs.
* Assist in conducting risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and environmental risk assessments for operational activities.
* Support the development and implementation of safety campaigns, training programs, toolbox talks, and QHSE awareness initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, marine industry standards, and client requirements.
* Support the QHSE Manager and senior management in maintaining a strong safety culture and continuous improvement within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
✔ Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, or related field / Engineering
✔ Marine / offshore industry experience is strongly preferred
✔ Knowledge of ISM Code, marine safety regulations, and ISO management systems
✔ Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and safety audits
✔ Strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills
