QHSSE OFFICER

We are seeking a qualified QHSSE Officer to implement, monitor, and continuously improve Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) standards across our catering operations. The role ensures full compliance with client requirements, local regulations, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce QHSSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and job safety analyses (JSA)
• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and client QHSSE requirements
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities; prepare reports and corrective actions
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and QHSSE training sessions
• Maintain QHSSE documentation, records, and reports
• Coordinate with operations, supervisors, and clients on QHSSE matters
• Support internal and external audits and inspections
• Promote a strong safety culture across the workforce

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Safety, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of QHSSE experience (Oil & Gas / Industrial projects preferred)
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory)
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 22000)
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and incident investigation
• Good communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and under site conditions

Preferred Skills

• Experience with client audits (OQ, PDO, Shell, BP, etc.)
• First Aid, Fire Fighting, or Train-the-Trainer certification
