Full job description

We are a Contracting Company and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor Manager, at least 3 Years of work experience in the MEP Projects in UAE in the same field.

Quantity Surveyor Manager Responsibilities:

· Study the Full set of Tender Documents and Prepare Quantity Take Offs, Bill of Quantities, Dry Cost Analyses, Rate Comparisons and Final Offers

· Identify, Source, Seek and Follow-up for Quotations from Suppliers/Sub-Contractors for materials / sub-contract work

· Identify the Conflicts/Omissions in the Tender Documents and Liaising with the

Consultants for the Tender Clarifications in a timely manner and relaying the same to the relevant suppliers / sub-contractor.

· Make site visits to the proposed project locations and identify the requirement of any additional provisions to be considered in the final bid.

· Prepare Preliminary Tender Programs of the Proposed Projects in Primavera P6 as mandated in the Instruction to Tenderers.

· Prepare the Full Set of Documents for the Tender Submission Liaise with the Consultants / Designers/ Client for Tender Feedback / Post Tender Clarifications and Re-evaluate and Submit Offers accordingly

· Cost Control of the Projects to ensure the Projects Costs fall in line with Project Budgets

· Prepare Baseline Program of the Project with detailed breakdown of activities, links, Cost and Resource Loading, visualizing the full work schedule over the course of Project Duration

· Prepare S-Curves, Project Cashflow, Manpower Histograms for the Project.

Quantity Surveyor Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
• A valid driver's license.
• Great networking abilities.
