QS - Cost Management

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactiveCost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs for Mivan high-rise residential projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, cost control, and value engineering to ensure optimal financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Estimation & Budgeting

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets during pre-construction and execution stages.
• Conduct rate analysis specific to Mivan / Aluminium Formwork construction systems.
• Assist in tender preparation, vendor evaluation, and bid analysis.

2. Cost Control & Monitoring

• Track project costs against budgets and prepare variance reports.
• Update cost control sheets and cash flow statements periodically.
• Support timely certification of subcontractor bills and material reconciliations.

3. Procurement & Contract Support

• Coordinate with procurement teams for cost-effective vendor selection and contract finalization.
• Prepare comparative cost statements and assist in negotiation.
• Maintain accurate documentation for cost records and approvals.

4. Value Engineering & Optimization

• Identify opportunities to optimize material usage and execution costs.
• Suggest alternatives that reduce cost without affecting quality or timelines.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, and Execution teams for cost alignment with project schedules.
• Support management with cost reports, MIS updates, and financial summaries.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of Mivan / Aluminium Formwork technology.
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost tracking.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost management tools
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver within deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
