QS Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quantity Surveyor (QS) Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in pre and post-tender processes within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans for construction projects.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for tenders.
• Analyze tenders and provide recommendations on cost-effective solutions.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and control costs to ensure that the project is completed within budget.
• Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts.
• Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Resolve any contractual and commercial issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in pre and post-tender processes in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and specialized QS software.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with local construction laws and regulations in Dubai.
