QS Engineer

We are seeking a highly capable Quantity Surveyor to join our Tender Department - Ras Al Khaimah

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse tender documentation (drawings, specifications, BOQs) and identify cost-related risks and opportunities.

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for multi-disciplinary construction projects.

- Collaborate with design, procurement, and planning teams to gather relevant data and inputs.

- Support pricing strategies and value engineering solutions to optimize competitiveness.

- Participate in bid reviews, clarifications, and submission processes.

- Maintain updated cost databases and support post-tender negotiations when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

* 3–5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within main contracting or large-scale construction projects.

* Hands-on experience with QS and cost management software/tools (e.g.,Plan swift , Candy, CostX, or similar).

* Excellent understanding of UAE construction market rates, subcontractor ecosystems and material pricing.

* Strong negotiation, analytical and commercial risk assessment skills.

* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field; RICS accreditation is an advantage.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience in pre-contract/tendering roles within the construction industry.

Proficiency in quantity take-off software.

Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail.

Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.

Experience in the UAE & GCC region is preferred.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
