Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Safety Supervisor / Safety Steward to oversee HSE performance on site and ensure full compliance with project safety standards and ADNOC/industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly HSE dashboards and monthly HSE reports.
• Analyze HSE performance indicators, including incidents, accidents & near-misses.
• Ensure full implementation of Project HSE Requirements in assigned areas.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with HSE standards, PTW, MS/JSA.
• Identify and report unsafe acts/conditions; coordinate corrections with subcontractor HSE reps.
• Verify training compliance according to the approved training matrix.
• Participate in Daily PTW coordination meetings.
• Review and comment on Method Statements and JSAs.
• Participate in incident/accident investigations.
• Coordinate with Environmental officers when required.
• Support emergency response and lead actions during off-shift hours.
• Conduct and participate in HSE walkthroughs and discipline inspections.
• Issue official HSE notices for unresolved unsafe acts/conditions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Technical/National Diploma.
• 5 years’ industry experience, with at least 3 years in field HSE activities.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, PTW systems, and safe work practices.
• Recognized HSE certifications (e.g., Scaffolding/Working at Heights, Rigging, Electrical Safety, Excavation).
• Excellent communication & reporting skills in English.
• Strong leadership, observation, and persuasion skills.
