Qualified Dental Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. Responsibilities

• Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Preparing treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
• Providing patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions and care guidance
• Maintaining strict infection control protocols in accordance with health and safety standards
• Managing patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times
• Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and liaising with patients effectively
• Ensuring the clinic environment remains clean, organised, and fully stocked with supplies
• Communicating clearly with patients to address concerns and provide reassurance throughout their visit

Qualifications

• recognised qualification in Dental Nursing (e.g., NEBDN or equivalent)
• Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Good IT skills for maintaining electronic patient records and appointment systems
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and compassion
• Knowledge of current health and safety regulations related to dental practice
