Pay: £19.23–£21.63/hr + 15% shift allowance
Shifts: 11.5-hour shifts (5 on/5 off, 4 on/4 off)
Location: Hemerdon Mine, PL7 5BS

Overview
Tungsten West plc is restarting the Hemerdon Tungsten-Tin mine in South Devon. We are seeking a Time Served Electrician to support installation, maintenance, and reliability of plant and site electrical systems during rebuild, commissioning, and production.

Requirements

• Time served Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition (BS 7671)
• Strong industrial experience (mining, heavy plant, manufacturing, or similar)
• Fault finding on 3-phase systems, motors, VSDs, and control equipment
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
• Strong safety mindset and understanding of safe systems of work

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on plant and site electrical systems
• Fault find and repair motors, drives, panels, conveyors, and pumps
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment to BS 7671 standards
• Complete inspections, testing, and statutory compliance (e.g. fixed wiring, PAT)
• Support upgrades, improvements, and plant modifications
• Work safely under permit-to-work and LOTO systems
• Maintain accurate records via CMMS
