Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for infants. Your expertise in childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management will inspire young learners and support their growth during these formative years. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early literacy, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional growth for infants.
  • Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and stimulation in a warm classroom setting.
  • Manage classroom activities efficiently, maintaining a structured yet flexible environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among infants.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns regarding child welfare or special education needs.
  • Incorporate early intervention strategies to support children with developmental delays or special needs.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor each child's progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
  • Proven experience in classroom management within a daycare or preschool setting, especially with infants or toddlers.
  • Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education tailored for young children.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods and other educational philosophies that enhance early learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively work with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs.
  • Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive behavior and emotional well-being.
