We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our dynamic team. - Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Deliver crisis intervention and crisis management services to de-escalate situations effectively and ensure client safety
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate psychopharmacology collaboration when appropriate and address mental health issues such as PTSD, grief, addiction, gender issues, or developmental disabilities
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing medical terminology accurately for patient care reports
- Facilitate intake assessments and coordinate case management activities to support ongoing patient progress and community resource linkage
- Engage in clinical research initiatives or data collection efforts to improve service delivery and contribute to best practices in behavioral health
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent credential in mental health counseling
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities in outpatient or inpatient settings
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and other evidence-based modalities
- Experience with crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic purposes; experience with CPT coding is a plus
- Telehealth experience preferred; ability to adapt services for virtual delivery is essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health; understanding of HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals and social workers
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as addiction counseling, grief counseling, pediatric care, autism spectrum disorders, Geriatrics, or special education is desirable
