Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad range of skills within the construction and maintenance sectors, contributing to both commercial and residential developments. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in plumbing, with additional experience in related trades such as gas work, heating, or electrical work being highly advantageous.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out various tasks related to plumbing and associated trades.
- Assist with fabrication and modification of pipes or fittings as required for specific projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, welders, and electricians to complete projects seamlessly.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations related to construction sites and maintenance work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or related trades are preferred but not essential for all roles. Pay: £25,339.01-£45,603.70 per year
