Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong communication skills, a work ethic, and a desire to grow. You will have access to industry-leading training, materials, and resources, including our developmentally appropriate Curriculum. Teaching preschoolers includes planning, implementing, and assessing lessons. You will teach children with patience and creativity. Preschool teacher duties include:

• Implement developmentally appropriate programs for young children.
• Supervise children at all times.
• Communicate with parents and members of the community.

An ideal candidate will have the following:

• Working experience as a preschool teacher
• 12 ECE units
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent knowledge of child development
• Strong customer service mindset
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds throughout the workday to at least waist high

About Little Genius Academy

Little Genius Academy offers educational childcare services with a creative and age-appropriate curriculum designed for infants, toddlers, preschool, and Pre-K children. We provide a bright, clean, and safe environment that is warm, inviting, and nurturing to children and a carefully planned curriculum where play takes precedence and learning opportunities are presented throughout our day. Your child participates in planned daily activities and uses developmentally appropriate materials that create a positive, educational experience. We focus on social relationships, language skills, problem-solving, fine and gross motor development, self-help skills, and music and movement. In addition, we incorporate activities that promote letter, number, shape, and color recognition. Finally, we work to instill values in each child, such as Respect, Patience, Politeness, Cooperation, and Forgiveness.​
