Qualified Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Preschool Teacher with 12 Early Child Development units to inspire young learners and foster their early childhood development. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and child welfare will ensure each child receives a high-quality educational experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives while working within a dynamic educational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
  • Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that promote active learning, curiosity, and creativity among preschool students.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful environment.
  • Support children’s social-emotional development by fostering communication skills, cooperation, and independence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in early intervention or special education to support individual learning needs and ensure inclusive classroom practices.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when appropriate; document developmental milestones regularly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while adhering to health and safety regulations related to childcare.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience in preschool or early childhood education settings is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
  • Experience working with children with diverse learning needs, including special education or early intervention programs.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and childcare best practices.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and external specialists.
