About Us

Autism Institute of Minnesota is a growing EIDBI provider that opened in August 2023. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered services to children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We are seeking a CBT-certified Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) to provide clinical leadership, staff supervision.

Position Summary

The QSP provides clinical oversight of EIDBI services, ensures compliance with Minnesota DHS standards. This role blends supervision, program development, and direct clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, approve, and sign all Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs)
  • Ensure all EIDBI services reflect the person’s and family’s:
  • Values, culture, language, and preferences
  • Determine and guide parent/caregiver training and counseling levels
  • Provide CBT-informed supervision and training to Behavioral Therapists
  • Supervise Level I, II, and III EIDBI providers, including:
  • Clinical service delivery
  • Documentation (case notes, reports, billing compliance)
  • Coordinate and lead care conferences and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Ensure all services meet DHS EIDBI standards and clinical fidelity requirements
  • Maintain manageable caseload to support active clinical involvement and supervision
  • Assume full professional responsibility for supervisees’ clinical work

Required QualificationsLicensure (Must Meet MN EIDBI QSP Requirements)

Must hold one of the following active Minnesota licenses:

  • Licensed Psychologist (LP)
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Physician (MD) or Psychiatrist
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with mental health certification

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to practice within scope of licensure
  • Strong leadership, supervision, and documentation skills

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Flexible scheduling (create your own schedule within M–F hours)
  • Full-time or part-time opportunities available
  • Hybrid work model (combination of remote and in-person in Saint Paul)

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50–$60 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Paid time off

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
