Job Description:
  • We are looking for a Quality Acceptancy Analyst for a 12-month contract opportunity that is hybrid in Newark, DE.
  • This role entails acting as a Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst for a state-level Unemployment Insurance and Paid Family Medical Leave system.
  • The candidate will drive testing efforts across 2-3+ concurrent workstreams, supporting both project implementations and ongoing production releases within a Salesforce environment.
  • The PMO partners with both the state and a vendor partner to implement the Salesforce solution to support both lines of business.
  • Candidate will create comprehensive test plans, scripts, and scenarios (manual or automated) to identify bugs or flaws using solution documentation and User Stories provided from our vendor partner.
  • Candidate will identify, document, and track bugs to resolution using tools like COPADO.
  • The team will provide metrics to measure quality outputs and to track defects and minimize them.
  • Utilize industry best practices to manage and minimize defects through creation of front-end quality measures to minimize/eliminate common sources.
  • Create repeatable methods to measure performance.
  • Assist in developing traceability metrics.
  • Develop and execute test cases (manual or automated) to identify bugs or flaws that prove traceability
  • Assure that testing plans are traceable and repeatable through scripting or similar testing methods.
  • Regularly communicate findings to State and vendor partners.
  • Escalate findings, as appropriate.
  • Advocate on behalf of the State with PMO Team.
Required:
  • 4+ years QA experiences
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Multiple project workstream responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective risk / issue management, mitigation, escalation, and communication
  • Waterfall (PMP) and Agile (CSM/Coach) methodologies experience
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • SDLC - Software/application delivery experience
  • Experience with all levels of stakeholder management
Preferred:
  • Experience working with state Unemployment Compensation systems
  • Experience working on government projects
  • Knowledge of laws, rules, goals, and objectives of the unemployment compensation program
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience with automation testing tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Copado
Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
