Quality Analyst

Position: Quality Analyst

Location: Ludhiana

Key ResponsibilitiesDocumentation

• Write clear, structured, and detailed test cases.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios from requirements, including edge cases and negative cases.
• Convert vague or incomplete requirements into complete test coverage.
• Identify gaps in requirements and raise clarifications.
• Prepare and maintain : Test Plans , Test Strategy documents ,Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), QA reports and release documentation, SOPs and QA process documentation.
• Ensure version control and consistency in documentation.

Testing

• Perform functional testing of web and/or mobile applications.
• Execute regression, integration, and system testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing and validation of bug fixes.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business and functional requirements.

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Basic API testing knowledge (e.g., using Postman) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge for backend validation is preferred.

Required Skills

• Experience writing structured test cases, edge cases, and negative cases.
• Ability to break down complex workflows into test scenarios.
• Process-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Comfortable asking clarifying questions and improving QA standards.
• Prior experience in documentation-heavy QA roles is preferred.

Experience

• 2–3 years of QA experience (mid-level preferred).
• Experience in SaaS, product, or software development environments is a plus.
