Based on your understanding of the job, what is the most appealing aspect?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Workflow Coordinator to manage the intake, distribution, and quality verification of instructional content production. This is not a people management role — it's an operational hub role. You will own the queue, triage incoming work, route tasks to the right team members, and serve as the final quality gate before content is delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Queue Management: Monitor and maintain the Monday.com project board; ensure all incoming work is logged, categorized, and prioritized
- Triage & Routing: Assess incoming tasks, determine scope and complexity, and assign work to the appropriate team member based on capacity and skill set
- Quality Verification: Review completed work before delivery — checking for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and adherence to project standards
- Copy Editing: Proofread and edit digital content across formats (slides, LMS pages, captions, scripts)
- Video QA: Review completed video edits for quality; perform minor corrections as needed (trimming, captions, overlays)
- LMS Checks: Verify that content is correctly uploaded and organized in Canvas
- Production Support: Handle PowerPoint cleanup, image resizing, minor HTML fixes, and Canva updates as workflow gaps require
- Process Tracking: Flag bottlenecks, track turnaround times, and communicate status updates to the team
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of academic copy editing or content QA experience
- Experience managing a project queue or coordinating workflow (Monday.com or similar tool preferred)
- Strong attention to detail — grammar, formatting, and visual consistency
- Proficiency in PowerPoint; basic Canva, HTML, and video editing (Camtasia, iMovie, or similar)
- Able to assess work quality independently and make routing decisions without hand-holding
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent tasks
Preferred
- Experience with Canvas LMS
- Background in instructional design, academic publishing, or edtech production environments
