Quality Assurance Engineer

Post-college experience required.

We are looking for detail-oriented testing engineers to test web-based software applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop effective test cases that are easily executable for manual and automated testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing.
• Develop test automation scripts in Cypress.
• Document work products such as test cases, test results, test processes.
• Participate in product and feature designs with product owners and software engineers.
• Verify builds with acceptance tests, conduct regression tests, track bugs, and participate in story analysis.
• Design, develop, maintain and implement software application testing strategies.
• Design manual and automated test processes, and actively propose improvements for such processes.
• Collaborate closely with software developers to resolve issues discovered during testing.
• Actively identify risks that could cause project delays or product flaws, and communicate risks to team members and managers in time.
• Recommend improvements in software features to enhance user experience.
• Assist in backlog grooming for upcoming development sprints.
• Truly understand product features being tested.
• Follow industry trends and advancements in QA and propose new solutions to solve practical challenges.

Job Requirements - Mandatory:

• At least 1 year of post-college experience with software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Post-college experience required
• Knowledge of APIs and NoSQL database
• Experience writing test scripts in a coding language
• Experience with JavaScript
• Solid critical-thinking and decision-making capabilities
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
• Able to commit at least 40 hours of effective working hours per week.
