Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual exploratory testing for web UI and API components to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Communicate defects, risks, and progress clearly and professionally in written and spoken English.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Document and maintain exploratory test specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Apply critical thinking skills to challenge, clarify, and refine product requirements.
• Prepare and review acceptance criteria for user stories and features in collaboration with Product Owners and Developers.
• Participate actively in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Analyze and debug failed automated tests (UI and API) to identify root causes and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall product quality.
• Strong expertise in manual exploratory testing for UI and API.
• Ability to document, maintain, and update test specifications.
• Good understanding of acceptance criteria preparation and review processes.
• Strong knowledge of Agile practices (SCRUM) and working in iterative development environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and professional).
• Proficiency in debugging and analyzing failed automated tests.
  
  

Hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting including :

• Selenium (C#)
• Groovy
