What is this role?

As a Quality Assurance Manager for Cirkul, you will play a key role in Cirkul’s geographic expansion to a Western state. The QA Manager will be a champion of QA initiatives and work to support all business units, manage HR issues, and solve quality problems to drive the business forward at all times. This position will require travel initially from the Cirkul West Plant to the Tampa, FL facilities.



What does an average day look like?

• Driving Results: Manage QA supervisors day to day activities by providing best practices and development where appropriate.
• Taking Ownership: Lead cross functional teams to assure effective implementation and adherence to QA initiatives and process improvements.
• Making Decisions: Manage others to ensure appropriate SOPs are in place and maintain compliance with FDA, 21 CFR 117, cGMP and SQF.
• Cultivating Relationships: Work with various departments to promote food quality and safety priorities, communicate risks while providing support of business objectives.
• Instilling Trust: Collaborate with other functions to advance awareness and education of food/product safety and quality.
• Customer Focus: Influence at all levels within Cirkul to ensure adherence to the highest standards of product, safety and quality.
  
  

What background should you have?

• Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance/ cGMP/ FDA regulated industry.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Well versed in the compliance & quality requirements of SQF (or GFSI) and cGMPs.
• Experience with government regulatory and retail store requirements for packaged food.
• Experience with food packaging manufacture preferred.
• Quality Engineering background preferred.
