Quality Assurance Manager

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for leading manufacturing quality systems, supplier quality oversight, welding and fabrication quality compliance, and ISO 9001 quality program execution.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives for a manufacturing facility
• Develop, maintain, and execute the Quality Management System and quality control plans in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
• Oversee supplier management and supplier quality activities
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Provide production quality support across manufacturing operations
• Lead and manage quality assurance personnel
• Support welding and fabrication quality requirements for carbon, stainless, and alloy metal products
• Maintain quality system execution and compliance across the facility

Job Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
• Technical college degree or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
• Working knowledge of manufacturing quality management systems
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
• Experience developing, maintaining, and executing quality management systems and quality control plans
• Experience in manufacturing and metal fabrication environments
• Hands-on experience with arc welding processes
• Hands-on experience with fabrication of carbon, stainless, and alloy metals
• Experience providing production quality support
• Experience conducting audits and inspections
• Experience overseeing supplier management
• Experience leading quality assurance personnel

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading quality initiatives in manufacturing facilities
• Experience supporting supplier quality improvement and compliance
• Experience with welding quality requirements in metal fabrication operations
• Experience maintaining quality documentation and procedures in ISO-regulated environments
• Experience managing plant-level quality control programs
