Key Responsibilities:

• Review IFC drawings and project specifications to ensure piling works comply with approved requirements.
• Prepare and/or review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) related to piling, foundation, and ground improvement works.
• Prepare and/or review Material Approval Requests (MAR) for piling materials such as concrete, reinforcement, and pile accessories.
• Perform material receiving inspections for piling-related materials (e.g., rebar, concrete, casings).
• Conduct detailed inspections of piling activities, including pile drilling, concreting, rebar cage installation, pile integrity, and load tests as per ITP.
• Carry out day-to-day site surveillance for piling works, issuing deficiency notes and maintaining daily inspection reports.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, including test results, certificates, reports, and inspection records for piling works.
• Monitor compliance with project specifications and standards, reporting and closing out NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and SORs (Site Observation Reports).
• Record all inspections and findings, and submit daily QA/QC reports to the Site Quality Manager.
• Report any deviations from approved plans, specifications, and approved piling procedures.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in piling/foundation works.
• Professional qualification/certification in QA/QC is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of relevant international standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, and piling/foundation-related standards).
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in piling techniques such as bored piles, driven piles, diaphragm walls, and pile testing (PDA, integrity, load tests).
• ADNOC project experience as Civil QA/QC Inspector is mandatory .
