Role Summary
The QA/QC MEP Engineer ensures all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems meet project specifications, authority codes, and high-end quality standards expected for luxury and high-rise residential developments.
Key Responsibilities

Implement MEP QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and project quality plans in line with ISO standards.

Conduct inspections for MEP works: HVAC, drainage, plumbing, fire-fighting, LV/MV systems, lighting, BMS, ELV, and specialized systems.

Verify materials and installations are in line with approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.

Prepare and manage QA/QC documentation (WIRs, MIRs, test reports, checklists, NCRs).

Coordinate with civil, architectural, and fit-out teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-end MEP services.

Review and approve MEP material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.

Lead testing & commissioning activities and ensure systems meet luxury standards and authority requirements.

Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities (DEWA, DCD, DM, Etisalat/DU) for inspections and approvals.

Monitor subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance and maintain quality on luxury finish coordination (e.g., concealed services in premium apartments).

Support project close-out, documentation, snagging, and handover requirements.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

5–8+ years of QA/QC MEP experience in contracting companies.

Proven experience in luxury projects and high-rise residential towers.

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, drainage, fire systems, and electrical installations.

Knowledge of UAE authority regulations and international standards.

Excellent inspection and reporting skills.
