Job Role & Responsibilities:

Quality Plan Implementation: Develop and enforce the project's Quality Management Plan, including all Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for various construction activities.

On-site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of materials, workmanship, and construction activities to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.

Testing: Oversee and verify the results of all material testing, such as concrete strength tests, soil compaction tests, and steel certifications.

Defect Management: Identify and report all non-conforming work, raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented and verified.

Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and audit findings, for future reference and project handover.
Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably on a major construction project.

Certifications: Relevant certifications from a recognized quality organisation are highly desirable. Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is often required.

Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and testing procedures. Knowledge of welding, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods, and industry-specific codes is a major plus.
