Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector is responsible for verifying documentation and inspecting materials and finished products to verify that they meet quality standards. The Quality Assurance Receiving receives, samples, and maintains all raw chemical used in the formulation process. Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample raw chemical as per specifications
• Establish sampling plans/strategy
• Move, and maintains raw chemical inventory
• Compile raw chemical quality documentation
• Compile raw chemical quality documentation
• Coordinate with other departments on quality issues
• Work with purchasing on supplier performance
• Verify accuracy of product documentation
• Release finished product to shipping/warehouse
• Quarantine suspect products and ensure completion of proper documentation

Skills/Qualifications Required:

• Associate’s degree and/or 2+ years of experience in quality
• Experience in liquid manufacturing and/or cosmetic production environments
• Familiarity with GMP or FDA-regulated environments (optional but strong add)
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Organization and attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Knowledge of quality measuring tools
• Intermediate math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions both verbal and written
• Understand use of aseptic techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
