Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Overview :

Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Willowbrook, IL

Reports to: Vice President, Engineering

Type: Contract-to-Hire; full-time (Hybrid)

Compensation: Negotiable (based on experience)

We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist. This role is critical in ensuring high product quality for existing and new product introductions. Working closely with cross-functional team members, the primary focus of the role will be the creation and maintenance of Tru’s product specifications. This role will also manage registrations of Tru products in relevant industry portals and support coordination and management of product testing with Tru’s third-party laboratories.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Specifications

• New product introduction – Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering and Production to create robust technical specifications.
• Existing product – Maintain existing technical specifications and execute updates through Tru’s Engineering Change Management process.

Product Registrations

• Collaborate with Commercial Sales and Regulatory teams to manage registrations of Tru products in applicable customer and regulatory portals.

Product Testing

• Coordinate and manage testing for new and existing products through third-party laboratories.

Qualifications :

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of technical documentation experience in a product development environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage a high task load.
