Quality Assurance Supervisor

Summary:

Supervises and coordinates the functions of the Quality Assurance Inspectors in the manufacture of electronic and electro-mechanical products and systems.

Qualifications/Skills:

· 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor or experience in a related position preferred.

· Experience with printed circuit board build processes and surface mount manufacturing, specifically within the defense/aerospace and medical industries preferred.

· Electronics Component Identification preferred.

· IPC-610 certification, past or present, preferred.

· Strong problem solving and computer skills using Microsoft Office a must.

· Ability to understand customer specifications, IPC-A-610 requirements and company standards and verify the same in the finished product.

· Strong interpersonal and communication written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in English.

· US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities:

· Supervises Quality Assurance Inspector employees and directs work flow.

· Provides direction, review, and discipline to Quality Assurance employees.

· Interfaces with other groups in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met or exceeded.

· Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet Quality requirements.

· Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve productions methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

· Maintains time and production records.

· Investigate and react to customer complaints regarding quality.

· Performs various other tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Work Environment:

The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present. Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas.
