Personal Care Manufacturer - Quality Assurance Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our quality management initiatives within our manufacturing environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality systems and quality operations personnel, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will drive the quality assurance team to uphold the highest standards of product integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Lead and supervise the quality assurance team to execute daily quality control, inspection, and related activities across manufacturing operations.
- Conduct regular internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Oversee quality inspections at various production stages, ensuring products meet specifications through meticulous analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure documentation accuracy for all quality processes, audit reports, non-conformance reports, and compliance records.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality systems, regulatory updates, and best practices in QA/QC procedures.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 22716, FDA / OTC regulations, and related quality frameworks.
- Proven experience in conducting comprehensive quality audits within manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of quality control techniques including inspection methods and testing protocols.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Analytical skills capable of identifying issues quickly and developing effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills for training teams, reporting findings, and collaborating.
