Quality Assurance Technician

Basic Function:

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that burners, combustion components, and related assemblies meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards. This role supports production through inspections, testing, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manages our gauge calibration system, assist with auditing ISO 9001 in the office and plant, and supports the warranty process.

Essential Duties:

Training Requirements

• IS0 9000 principles, philosophy, and auditing.

• Electrical and Mechanical Blueprint Reading.

• Quality Measurement Tools, Calibration, and Use.

• Proficient in Microsoft application.

• Basic understanding of quality tools.

• Quality assurance mindset

Education Required: High School Diploma required. Some post high school education preferred.

Experience Required: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a role within similar quality assurance functions of a manufacturing plant.

Physical Skill and Effort: Standing, bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs., frequently during an 8 hour or longer work shift. Dexterity required includes the ability to safely work with hand tools.

Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal hazards associated with working in a metal fabricating environment. Personal protection equipment required consists of: safety glasses, steel toed shoes and hearing protection. Additional personal protection equipment may be required and is dependent upon the work being performed, and may include: face shield, respirator etc.
