Job Description: The Quality Assurance Technician will work in locating and resolving internal manufacturing, vendor and customer issues. This will include, but is not limited to, perform incoming, in-process and final inspections, maintaining our calibration system, non-conforming material tracking (MRB), perform internal audits, provide manufacturing training when needed and supply data collection to management when required. On occasion, the Quality Assurance Technician may be assigned additional tasks when required by the Quality Assurance Manager.


Job Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures are followed and maintained resulting in high quality products which meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. He/she will work closely with all of our internal departments to resolve both past and present quality issues. In addition, the Quality Assurance Technician will provide incoming, in-process and final inspections on raw materials, WIP and finished goods and work in conjunction with our Quality Manager in resolving these issues. He/she will play an integral part in maintaining our ISO compliance. This includes being familiar with ECO’s, TDN’s, CAR’s, PAR’s, NCR’s and other quality system processes.

Qualification Requirements: The Quality Assurance Technician requires a minimum of 7+ years of hands on experience in a fast-paced ISO Certified manufacturing environment. He/she must be able to use basic measuring equipment and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation and organizational skills as well as a strong desire to learn. In addition, he/she should possess good computer skills and be familiar with Windows Operating Systems as well as MS Word, Excel and Access programs. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to and from bench top level.

Working Environment: Electronic Manufacturer with in-house design, engineering and ESD Production areas.

Pay Range: $27-29 per hour
