Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician, 3rd Shift

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports To: Quality Manager

Purpose: Perform assigned analytical testing using established methods and procedures.

Primary Job Duties:

· Inspect and sign off all In-process products.

· Inspect products and packaging.

· Communicate quality standards, assist with monitoring, coaching, enforcing systems; policies and procedures.

· Verify cleanliness of machines after a clean process.

· Monitor production areas to ensure policies are being followed.

· Monitor/Verify CCPs. (Labels, XRays/Metal Detectors, etc.)

· Conduct various quality testing utilizing laboratory equipment.

· Monitor/verify product specifications.

· Monitor/verify product packaging integrity.

· Perform "Pick Tests" to ensure mix percentages of ingredients (when applicable).

· Collect and maintain retention samples.

· Review, organize, and file relevant paperwork.

· Collect and maintain sensitive information.

· Review records prior to releasing products.

· Data entry of pertinent quality system information.

· Perform all other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Secondary Job Duties:

· Attend meetings as required.

· Attend trainings as required.

· Help maintain a cohesive and productive relationship between all departments within King Nut Company.

· Help to cover team call offs or absences.

Physical Demands:

· While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.

· The employee is often required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, use their hands and fingers to handle or feel, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift ( 11:00pm - 7:30am)
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime (Mandatory)
• Weekends as needed
