Quality Assurance Technician (3rd Shift 10pm - 6:30am)

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet strict quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail and strong analysis skills will help maintain the integrity of our quality systems, supporting continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality control, familiar with industry standards such as ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and GMP practices, and eager to contribute to a safe and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications.
• Perform regular quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
• Collect and analyze data related to manufacturing processes and product quality to identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other precision tools to assess dimensional accuracy of components.
• Support quality management by documenting inspection results accurately and maintaining detailed records for traceability.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment to ensure consistent accuracy.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation when quality issues arise, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Experience

• Prior experience working in manufacturing or quality control environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with calibration of precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and conducting internal or external quality audits.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions.
• Experience working with quality assurance tools such as Calypso software or similar platforms is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to uphold product integrity and safety standards.
