Quality Assurance Technician or Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician or Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. Duties

• Ability to measure sample parts using various hand-held gages (calipers, micrometer, pin gages, height gage, etc). Knowledge of Faro and / or CMM strongly preferred.
• Summarize and report dimensional results of samples sent to the customer on a weekly basis
• Ability to read and understand basic GD&T is strongly preferred
• 8D root cause methodology and corrective action implementation
• Generating 8D reports (or other customer preferred formats) based on the results of investigation
• Gage R&R study
• Capability study / CpK – conduct and interpret
• Write standard work instructions for various manufacturing and / or inspection processes
• Conduct Incoming Inspection activities
• Familiar and able to read / update PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram
• Understanding of Run@Rate concepts
• Collecting manufacturing “reject data” and summarizing / presenting it in organized format to better understand continuous improvement opportunities

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Quality assurance: 5 years (Required)
• GD&T: 1 year (Preferred)
• Precision measuring instruments: 1 year (Required)
• ISO 9001: 3 years (Required)
