Role Overview
We are seeking a
Quality Assurance Tester
to support a large-scale
financial systems and payment platform migration initiative
. This role will focus on validating end-to-end payment processing workflows across multiple channels, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless user experience during the transition to a new enterprise banking and payment ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a
self-starter
who can work independently, take ownership of testing objectives, and collaborate effectively with project teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end testing of payment systems, including:

Card-present transactions
-
Online payments (credit cards, e-checks, digital wallets)

IVR (phone-based) payment systems
-
Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios (positive and negative cases)

Validate payment workflows, receipts, refunds, and reconciliation processes
-
Conduct user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) testing
-
Document test cases, results, and defects using tools such as Visio, OneNote, SnagIt, or similar
-
Provide actionable feedback to project management and development teams

Validate payment reporting, transaction files, and ERP reconciliation processes
-
Support change management efforts, including communication and documentation for end users
-
Assist with post go-live support, troubleshooting payment-related issues

Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for:

Credit card processing
-
Online payment workflows
-
In-person transaction handling
