Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-driven and process-focused Quality Auditor to join our Quality team. This role is responsible for inspecting plated finishes to ensure conformance to customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.
The Quality Auditor plays a critical role in product release, compliance, testing, audit support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Inspection & Testing
- Inspect plated finishes for proper application and appearance per customer specifications
- Conduct required testing including thickness checks, quench tests, crimp tests, hardness, SST, adhesion, and other defined inspections
- Mark and identify nonconforming materials using hold tags
- Record rejected units and document reasons for rejection
Documentation & Compliance
- Authorize product release in ERP system and physically verify shipment readiness
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality logs
- Perform internal calibration of quality equipment (X-Ray, handheld devices, etc.)
- Maintain Hold Area and track nonconforming material disposition
- Ensure completion of Quality Inspector Checklist
Quality System Support
- Assist with containment, sorting, and corrective actions
- Support internal and external audit programs
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
- Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment
Team Support
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Provide support to Shipping & Receiving when needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Quality Technician or Manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing or inspection experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and test procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with measurement tools and lab equipment
- Basic computer proficiency (ERP system experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
