Quality Checker (Leather Jackets)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete inspection of leather jackets, including leather quality, stitching, lining, measurements, finishing, and overall construction.
• Check leather surface for scratches, shade variation, stains, cuts, wrinkles, or defects.
• Verify jacket measurements according to approved size charts.
• Inspect zippers, buttons, snaps, buckles, and other hardware for proper functioning and quality.
• Ensure inner lining, interlining, and padding (if any) are properly fixed and finished.
• Confirm labels, brand tags, care labels, and packaging are correct and properly attached.
• Identify, separate, and report defective pieces immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain daily inspection records and quality reports.
• Ensure only approved jackets are forwarded for storage or dispatch.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in leather garment quality checking (preferably leather jackets).
• Strong knowledge of leather types, grading, and finishing standards.
• Good understanding of jacket measurements and fitting standards.
• Ability to identify stitching, hardware, and finishing defects.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
