QC Duties and Responsibilities for Paper Products and Plastic Products
A Quality Control (QC) Inspector/Officer for paper and plastic products is responsible for ensuring that all finished products meet customer specifications, company standards, and production requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials before production
- Check paper and plastic quality, thickness, color, and dimensions
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality
- Conduct visual inspection for defects such as:
- Incorrect size
- Color variation
- Poor printing
- Scratches
- Holes
- Wrinkles
- Weak sealing
- Contamination
- Perform quality testing for:
- Tensile strength
- Bursting strength
- Seal strength
- Weight (GSM)
- Thickness
- Leakage test
- Drop test
- Ensure products comply with customer specifications and approved samples
- Approve or reject finished products based on QC standards
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain QC records
- Coordinate with production team regarding quality issues and corrective actions
- Monitor machine settings and production parameters
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of finished goods
- Conduct random sampling during production and before delivery
- Follow ISO, safety, and hygiene standards
- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality
- Recommend process improvements to reduce defects and waste
Skills Required
- Knowledge of paper and plastic manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with QC instruments and testing equipment
- Attention to detail
- Good reporting and documentation skills
- Understanding of ISO quality standards
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with production teams
Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
