Quality Control Coordinator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Collect reports from operations, quality and other departments when necessary to transfer

inspection/process data to digital database.

2. Enters manufacturing and quality data into appropriate databases as necessary (inspection

reports, key process indicator data, destructive and non-destructive testing data and other

necessary information).

3. Assists with maintaining document and data control, including master document listings and

associated files.

4. Interprets procedures and material specifications to determine if product meets standards.

5. Creates material test reports (MTRs) as necessary using reports from mills.

6. Reviews MTRs created for accuracy and completeness prior to publishing them (saving

them as documented information or sending them via email).

7. Conduct initial investigation into quality issues that fall under responsibilities and present

findings/documentation to quality management for further investigation.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide on the job training to new employees as needed.

2. Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company.

3. Other duties as assigned.

4. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Detail oriented and high organization skills.

2. Self-driven, independent and can work with minimal supervision.

3. Basic knowledge of manufacturing, testing and quality control.

4. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school

diploma or equivalent.

5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point and database programs.

WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots, and gloves. PPE REQUIRED: Safety glasses, ear protection, steel toed boots, and gloves. FALL PROTECTION ASSESSMENT N/A

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
